Late Arrivals:

Arrivals after office hours will receive their keys and Welcome information from a security guard at the front gate.

Check-in/out:Check-in Time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out Time: 11:00 a.m.

All check-in and management functions are handled by VI onsite personnel. If you have any questions or concerns, the onsite staff will be happy to assist you.

As you enter the Oasis, you will see the Club House entrance straight ahead, adjacent to the tennis courts. There you'll be given condominium and bicycle keys, room assignment and a remote control opener for your garage. (Note: Some condos have carports rather than garages).

At check-out, all charges must be paid and keys and garage openers returned. A $50 fee will be charged for any garage opener damaged or lost.

Occupancy limits apply to all ages including infants. Access may be denied for non-compliance. If alternate accommodations cannot be found, a $50.00 fee, per day, per person over the limit will be assessed.

Room Requests: Advance requests for specific units cannot be accepted.

Non-Smoking Policy: Effective August 1, 2005, all VI units - including decks, lanais, and patios - are smoke-free. A $250.00 fee will be assessed for noncompliance. Thank you for your cooperation.

Activities: For information on tennis reservations, please contact the VI Front Desk. For information regarding golf courses in the Palm Springs area, please contact the front desk at 760.324.3422. They will inform you of courses close by, and give you the information for you to book your tee time with the golf course in advance of your arrival.

Bicycles: Two adult-size bicycles come with each unit. Helmets are not provided. Additional bikes and helmets are available through local rental companies.

Access: There are three EZ Access and two ADA units at the Oasis. There are no elevators on the property, however a majority of the units are ground level with few steps to enter the unit, and no interior stairs. The public areas of the resort are either level entry or ramped.

Housekeeping/Maintenance Service: Upon your arrival, you will find your unit clean and ready for occupancy. Mid-stay cleans are provided for guests staying nine (9) nights or more. There is no linen change or towel change provided for guests staying fewer than nine nights, unless specifically requested. If you require additional maid service, you will be charged the current rate for these services. This charge will appear on your next monthly statement. Review maid points and prevailing rates for more information.

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED on property nor in any Vacation Internationale condominium. A $350 fine will apply for non-compliance.


Location Information

The 27-acre Oasis Water Resort Villa Hotel is located on the corner of East Palm Canyon Drive and Cherokee Way, across from The Merv Griffin Resort at the southeastern end of Palm Springs.

Directions

From airport

  1. Take El Cielo south out of the airport.
  2. Turn left (east) onto Ramón Road for about a mile.
  3. At Gene Autry Trail turn right and head south for about 1.5 miles.
  4. Turn right (west) onto East Palm Canyon Drive.
  5. Go two blocks and turn right again onto Cherokee Way. The Oasis entrance is half a block down on your left.

From Interstate 10 West

  1. Take the Palm Drive Desert Hot Springs exit.
  2. Bear right on the ramp and head south about six miles on Gene Autry Trail.
  3. At East Palm Canyon Drive turn right (west)
  4. Continue for two blocks and turn right onto Cherokee Way. The Oasis entrance is a half block down on your left.

From Interstate 10 East
