Renovation/Construction Projects
Renovations

We have begun the renovations in unit B4. This should take approximately 8 weeks to complete.

Doors and Locks: All doors and locks have been installed. Over the next few weeks, we will be painting the doors.

Travel Info

During hurricane season, we advise checking the weather conditions prior to travelling. 

Please check for weather updates as conditions may affect travel.

Hurricane season in Florida runs from June 1-November 30. We advise checking the weather forecast prior to your arrival. The resort is in a mandatory evacuation zone on the barrier island. In the event of a hurricane, you may be requested to leave the resort.

  • Check in begins at 4:30PM.  Early check-ins are subject to availability. 
  • Mid-week cleanings for reservations 10 days or more will be scheduled. 
  • If someone other than yourself is checking in, please call the Resort to give the names of the persons authorized to check-in/ have access to your unit.
Office Hours:
Monday - Friday: 9:00AM to 5:00PM (closed for short lunch break 1:00PM - 2:00PM)
Saturday: 9:00AM to 6:00PM 
Sunday: office closed

Check-in Age Requirement: The minimum check-in age is 21.

After Hours Check-in: If you will arrive after 6:00 pm, please call 1.877.243.7077 before arrival to request the combination for the lock box. Your check-in info and key will be in the lock-box.

Reservation stays: Reservations are for 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday, 4 nights Tuesday to Saturday or 3 nights Saturday to Tuesday. Longer stays are available with VI agent assistance, please call VI Owner Services at 1.800.444.6633 to confirm your dates.  Stays of more than 7 nights will likely require a unit move.

Unit Access: There are 2 steps into each unit, plus each unit has one bedroom on the ground floor. There are 15 - 20 interior stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms.

Third-party Management:  This resort location is managed by a third party, not VI.

Resort quiet hours: 10pm-8am

Emotional Support Animals are not allowed at this resort. Only Service Animals are allowed.

Resort Activities
Pool Closure

The Volcano Pool will be closed from October 28th until November 9th to install the lights needed to comply with the state requirements for nighttime swimming. During this time our guests will be able to use both pools at Grande Villas.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Two beach chairs and one beach umbrella will be provided for your use.  Any damages will be assessed a fine of $75 per item.

Fees/Taxes

Fines: The following fines will be assessed for non-compliance.

Over-occupancy policy: $50.00 per person, per night. Occupancy limits apply to all ages including infants.

No pet policy: $350.00. Pets are not allowed at VI Resorts. 

No smoking policy: $350.00. Smoking and vaping (tobacco or Cannabis) are not allowed in rooms, on decks, lanais or patio.

Fees

After-hours Lockout: In the event that you 'lock' yourself out of the unit, a $25 (cash) payment is required to open the door. Payment is to be made directly to the staff member. This applies ONLY after the staff has left for the day.

Accommodations/Lodging Tax: As required by state and local regulations, this nightly tax rate is based on condominium size and season and charged at the current rate upon arrival.
