Interior Construction in non VI units:
Interior construction work will be happening in the F building from March through May 2025. Construction will be Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm.
Around the Property:The Association will be replacing/repairing rain gutters and fascia on the buildings A, B, C, and D and is scheduled for August 26 through November 16, 2024.
The Association will be replacing building roofs - schedule will be posted as we are informed.

Pool: Pono Kai issues wristbands to access the pool/jacuzzi area. Each owner will be allowed as many wristbands as the number of people their unit type occupies. The one bedroom units will be allowed up to 4 and two bedroom units will be allowed up to 6. There will be a $50 fee for replacing lost wristbands.
Lanai Storage: Do not hang or store items on the lanai railings, furniture, and AC equipment located outside of the unit.
Hospitality Room: The small group which owns the hospitality room, has restricted access to the room to those only within that group.
EZ Access Unit: If you have specific accommodation needs due to mobility or accessibility, please contact your Owner Services representative at 1.800.444.6633 to discuss your options. Due to the age and the structure of the building some units are not accessible for guests with mobility issues.
Laundry: There are no washers or dryers in the units, and a coin-op laundry is onsite.
Emotional Support Animals are not allowed at this resort. Only Service Animals are allowed.
Third-party Management: This resort location is managed by a third party, not VI.

Resort activities and fees are subject to change at any time due to weather conditions, group sizes, interest and/or season. See resort for times and availability at check-in.
- Fees/Taxes
Fines: The following fines will be assessed for non-compliance.
Over-occupancy Policy: $50.00 per person, per night. Occupancy limits apply to all ages including infants.
No Pet Policy: $350.00. Pets are not allowed at VI Resorts.
No Smoking Policy: $350.00. Smoking and vaping (tobacco or Cannabis) are not allowed in rooms, on decks, lanais or patio.
Late Check-Out Policy: Check out is at 11 am. A one-day rate will be charged for late check out.
Lost Pool Wristband: There will be a charge of $50 each time a guest requests a replacement wristband.
Fees
Accommodations/Lodging Tax: As required by state and local regulations, this nightly tax rate is based on condominium size and season. Taxes for reservations to non-VI managed resorts, including Pono Kai, will be added to members account and billed after travel.

Telephones: Telephones are provided in all apartments. A refundable $100 deposit or credit card imprint is required.
