- Renovation/Construction Projects

Renovations:
- Interior renovation project in two floors of B building, where family one and two bedrooms are located. VI has made efforts to limit the impact of the project on your vacations by blocking the unis in the vicinity. (August 18 to November 7, 2024).
- Tennis Court-Paint Seal in court No. 3 as well replacement of fence (July 4 to August 14, 2024)
- Second phase of Fire System equipment installation. Pipes from Administration Office to the Restaurant La Palapa (August 18 to November 7, 2024)
- Iron railing paint in balconies in C & D buildings (August 18 to November 7, 2024)
- Refinish railing wood balconies in A & B buildings (August 18 to November 7, 2024)
All project work times are from 9 AM to 6 PM. We anticipate noise, dust and some inconveniences from the on-site work. Projects of this nature are dependent upon the weather and the schedule may change without notice.
All amenities including the swimming pool, hot tubs, Restaurant & Bar, tour desk, and schedule activities will continue to be available for your enjoyment.

Proof of Citizenship: Travel to and from the USA, Mexico and Canada via air, rail or cruise will require a valid passport. For requirements regarding citizens of other countries, please call your local Mexican Consulate.
Traveling with Minors: If you are traveling alone with children, foreign border officials may require custody documents or notarized written consent from the other parent. Check with the embassy of your foreign destination before traveling.
Ground Transportation: You may reserve and pre-pay your ground transportation between the Mazatlan airport and Torres Mazatlan. Please provide your contact information to reserve your transfer (must be a minimum of five business days prior to your arrival), and a VI representative will contact you shortly. For questions or to schedule your pick-up, please call 1.800.755.3175. Please remember to provide your contact information to reserve your transfer.
- Resort Info
WIFI Access – Complimentary WIFI is available in your condominium, with a router installed in each unit for better coverage. To access the WIFI you will need to use a password that will be provided by the Front desk at check-in. Please note –the WIFI password will work for up to 3 devices in a one bedroom unit, 4 in a two bedroom and 8 in a Penthouse.
EZ Access Unit: If you have specific accommodation needs due to mobility or accessibility, please contact your Owner Services representative at 1.800.444.6633 to discuss your options. Due to the age and the structure of the building some units are not accessible for guests with mobility issues.
EZ Access Units are located on the first or second floor in the C and D building. Ground floor has no ocean view, second floor can be reached by elevator.
Grocery Store: There is a convenience store located at the resort. You may request groceries online in advance.
Tourist Activities: Torres Mazatlan has found the best and safest tours and activities to make your vacation a truly memorable experience. Our concierge will be glad to answer your questions and then confirm your tour or activity.
Air Conditioning: Units are equipped with central air conditioning that is seasonal from mid-May to mid-November.
Torres Mazatlán safety and water purification review:
For all of our members and guest traveling to Torres Mazatlán, understand there is a comprehensive, inspected and thoroughly evaluated system at the resort to ensure that our guests will have safe water. The system we use has been approved by governmental agencies in charge and includes the following:- Maintaining the correct temperature controls
- Maintaining the correct and approved chlorine levels, using chlorination at three different points in the water system
- Use of two filtration systems, one carbon filtering
- Water is treated with UV-light before water supply is sent for distribution
- Deep clean shower heads and faucets after each check-out
We take the health and safety of our members and guest very seriously and will continue to do so.
- Resort Activities
Resort activities and fees are subject to change at any time due to uncontrollable factors like weather conditions, group sizes, interest and/or season, etc. See resort for times and availability at check-in.
- Fees/Taxes
Fines: The following fines will be assessed for non-compliance.
Over-occupancy policy: $50.00 per person, per night. Occupancy limits apply to all ages including infants.
No pet policy: $350.00. Pets are not allowed at VI Resorts.
No smoking policy: $350.00. Smoking is not allowed in rooms, decks, lanais or patios.
Late check-out policy: $25.00. Charged every half hour after check-out time of 11:00am.
25 pesos lost or damaged keys fee
$25.00 (USD) unreturned pool towels fee
Long distance calls- based on local rates.
Accommodations/Lodging Tax: As required by state and local regulations, this nightly tax rate is based on condominium size and season and charged at the current rate upon arrival.

Currency Exchange: September 14, 2010, the amount of foreign money that can be exchanged for pesos is no more than US$1,500.00 per month and US $300.00 in a single transaction. Most establishments require official identification (passport) when exchanging US dollars for pesos (including VI Resorts). The measure DOES NOT AFFECT purchases made with credit/debit cards or the amount of cash withdrawn from an ATM machine.
