Renovation/Construction Projects
Renovations

A bedroom renovation project is planned in some units from 8/18/24 – 10/18/24.

The resort gym will be closed for renovations starting Wednesday, September 4, 2024 through Friday, September 6, 2024, returning to operation early Saturday, September 7, or earlier if possible. During this time, we will be working to improve our facilities and offer you better service and a superior workout experience.

Ground Transportation:  You may reserve and pre-pay your ground transportation between the airport and Vallarta Torre. Please provide your contact information to reserve your transfer (must be a minimum of five business days prior to your arrival), and a VI representative will contact you shortly. For questions or to schedule your pick-up, please call 1.800.755.3175. Please remember to provide your contact information to reserve your transfer.

Proof of Citizenship:  Effective January 1, 2007, travel to and from the USA, Mexico and Canada via air, rail or cruise will require a valid passport. For requirements regarding citizens of other countries, please call your local Mexican Consulate.

Traveling with Minors: If you are traveling alone with children, foreign border officials may require custody documents or notarized written consent from the other parent. Check with the embassy of your foreign destination before traveling.

Holiday Hours

Tuesday December 24 Christmas Eve:

  • Restaurant: from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Bar: from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Reception: from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday December 25 and January 1:

  • Restaurant: from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • All other services will operate during normal hours.

Tuesday December 31 New Year's Eve Party:

  • Restaurant: from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Bar: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Happy hour: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
  • Pool and grills: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Air Conditioning:  Units are equipped with central air conditioning that is seasonal from late April to late November.

EZ Access Unit: If you have specific accommodation needs due to mobility or accessibility, please contact your Owner Services representative at 1.800.444.6633 to discuss your options. Due to the age and the structure of the building some units are not accessible for guests with mobility issues. 

Noise: Vallarta Torres is located on the beach between the Krystal Vallarta and Crown Paradise Resort. The fiestas at the adjacent resorts can generate a high level of noise.

Tourist Activities:  Vallarta Torre has found the best and safest tours and activities to make your vacation a truly memorable experience. Our concierge will be glad to answer your questions and then confirm your tour or activity.

Unit Access: Two-bedroom and two-bedroom Ocean View Units: All two-bedroom and two-bedroom Ocean View units are accessed by stairs. No elevator is available. If stairs are a problem please book a two-bedroom EZ unit.

WIFI: Complimentary WIFI is available in your condominium. To access the WIFI, you will need a password obtained from the Front Desk. Internet access is also available in the courtyard.

Fees/Taxes

Fines: The following fines will be assessed for non-compliance.

Over-occupancy policy: $50.00 per person, per night. Occupancy limits apply to all ages including infants.

No pet policy: $350.00. Pets are not allowed at VI Resorts. 

No smoking policy: $350.00. Smoking is not allowed in rooms, decks, lanais or patios.

Late check-out policy: $25.00. Charged every half hour after check-out time of 11:00am.

Day Use Policy: $20.00 per person, per day.

$25.00 (USD) lost or damaged pool towels fee

Long distance calls - 10 pesos per minute

 

Accommodations/Lodging Tax:  As required by state and local regulations, this nightly tax rate is based on condominium size and season.

Currency Exchange:  September 14, 2010, the amount of foreign money that can be exchanged for pesos is no more than US$1,500.00 per month and US 300.00 in a single transaction. Most establishments require official identification (passport) when exchanging US dollars for pesos (including VI Resorts).  The measure DOES NOT AFFECT purchases made with credit/debit cards or the amount of cash withdrawn from an ATM machine.
